Count per Day

3.080 Kommentare | Kommentar schreiben

GeoIP
  • With GeoIP you can associate your visitors to an country using the ip address.
  • In the database a new column country will be insert on plugin activation.
  • On options page you can update you current visits. This take a while! The Script checks 100 IP addresses at once an reload itself until less then 100 addresses left. Click the update button to check the rest.
  • If the rest remains greater than 0 the IP address is not in GeoIP database (accuracy 99.5%).
  • You can update the GeoIP database from time to time to get new IP data. This necessitates write rights to geoip directory (e.g. chmod 777).
  • If the automatically update don't work download GeoIPv6.dat.gz, extract and rename it to GeoIP.dat and load it to the "geoip" directory.
  • More information about GeoIP on http://www.maxmind.com

Hello Tom, nice plugin, what is the shortcode or function for visitors per country. What I see here is reads per country. Thanks man

    • Tom Tom sagt:

      Hi Temmy,
the shortcode should show visitors not reads. But i will check it and add separate shortcodes in next update.

      • Temmy Temmy sagt:

Thanks for the quick response Tom, the shortcode [CPD_COUNTRIES] shows reads and not visitors. The default for the map shows reads but I've added what="visitors". My question is just how to display visitors country with flag using the shortcode [CPD_COUNTRIES] instead of reads. Nice work man, keep it up...

I made a mistake and deleted the counts shown under Mass Bots. Is there a way to restore these?

Thank you for such a useful app.

Hey Tom, have you developed a version of 'Count per Day' for Joomla? I'd like to install it also in my Joomla sites.

Hi Tom, I would like to say thank you for your plugin. It's really nice and exactly what I am looking for.

The "currently online" stat sometimes goes to 0 when I refresh the page. Could you please tell me how I fix it?

    Thanks a lot.

    • Tom Tom sagt:

      Hi Ken,
this is OK, nothing to fix. ;)
If you are the only visitor the counter shows 0, because logged in "visitors" (you) normally will not counted. But there is an options to count logged in users too.

    Hi there

Thanks so much for your useful plugin! I have recently made a back-up of the CPD database and it deleted all my data older than 6 months. How can I reinstate the old data so that I can see it in my "count per day" plugin ?

And how do I open the back up files to view the data that I backed up?

    Thanks!

    • Tom Tom sagt:

The data will saved as mySql-statements. So it's an text file. To restore the data you have to use phpMyAdmin or another administration tool. But i work on an in-plugin-function.

  7. Julie Julie sagt:

Hello, Tom! Thanks for an awesome plug-in, which I use on a number of sites.

One site in particular has 'flat-lined' for the past few days. I've included a screencap below. I have been building up visitor numbers in the past! I have tried deactivating and reactivating CPD, and reinstalling WordPress, but none of that makes any difference. Any ideas...?

    Hallo Tom,

Also ohne manuelles Hochladen. So zumindest die Vorgehensweise bei normalen WP-Installationen.
